Former Star On Local Eleven Will In Future Manage Local Club

James Easton, who in his hey day was a star on the Bethlehem Steel soccer team, will succeed William Sheridan, as manager of the Bethlehem Steel team. The appointment which was made last evening is temporary and during the absence of Mr. Sheridan from this city.

Mr. Easton is no newcomer to the Bethlehem players and as a mater of fact neither is he a stranger to the host of Bethlehem Steel patrons. His work with the club has always been of a highly satisfactory manner and since his playing days has been in active touch with the club.

Easton will be remembered as a center forward, goalie and back, regarded then as one of the most valuable players on the team. His versatility made him available for most any position and he was retained with the team as general utility man. His many years of experience in soccer has made him capable for the new position. East on has been a resident of Bethlehem for the past nine years. He is married and has established his home here. The appointment to succeed Mr. Sheridan is popular with the players.

The members of the Bethlehem Steel team are heartily in sympathy with Mr. Sheridan and are looking forward to an early settlement of his domestic difficulties.
