A Swing Along Athletic Row

The Jewish Stars
Lehigh Field will scintillate with star performers on Saturday afternoon, who will sport the colors of the league leading Bethlehem soccer team or represent Brooklyn, prominent among which, in the visiting lineup, will be the Jewish players that set the country agog with their sensational exploits last year as members of the touring Hakoah eleven of Vienna. No less than five of this former sensational eleven will come here in hopes of carrying the fortunes of the Brooklyn club to victory. The five comprised the nucleus of the excellent booting machine that rode triumphant in the tour of the country. At that time Bethlehem did not have the opportunity of meeting the Vienna aggregation. It was just a slip of arranging the schedule or something. On Saturday the Bethlehems will face half of that team, augmented by a collection of other great performers gathered under the wing of Nat Agar, the enterprising and quite modern manager of the Brooklyn team. In a previous meeting in Brooklyn, the game was a 2 goal draw. This will be the first meeting in Bethlehem.
