The game to be played in Bethlehem next Saturday for the benefit of the Eastern Pennsylvania and District Football association, of Philadelphia, between a picked team of the Blue Mountain league and Bethlehem Steel company, has been postponed until a later date, owing to the tie game in the National Challenge cup competition, last Saturday. The rules of cup competition state that in the event of a tie, the game must be played within a week. Therefore Bethlehem will have to travel to Tacony, next Saturday, to replay the tie game with Disston A. A.
East End field will be occupied with a postponed Blue Mountain league game, which should have been played last Saturday, between Bethlehem East End F. C. and Saucon Cross Roads F. C.
Arrangements have been completed with the Allied league of Philadelphia, whereby it will send an All-Star eleven, picked from the first division of the league, to play an eleven picked from the Blue Mountaion league, Christmas day on East End field.
A special meeting of the Blue Mountain league will be held, Friday evening, when the team will be selected to play the allied league selection.
