Soccer Notes

The Bethlehem Steel Company vs. Paterson game, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 22, has been postponed until Jan. 19. Paterson will be engaged on Sunday, Dec. 23, in a national cup game and as cup games have preference over league games, the latter will stand aside. The Bethlehem Steel athletic committee have decided to give the Bethlehem end of the receipts of this game to the soldiers' tobacco fund, and a big effort will be made to have a banner crowd at this game. The Steel Workers are training hard for the Disston league game here Christmas Day, and if it is possible to play on that day, one of the greatest games ever seen in this vicinity will be the result.
