SOCCER GAME POSTPONED
DISSTON GROUNDS UNFIT
For Play on Saturday -- The Game Will be Played Next Saturday. May Visit St. Louis.

Owing to the Disston grounds being declared unfit for playing by Referee Walders, at 5 o'clock, Saturday morning, the game between Bethlehem Steel and Disston was postponed until next Saturday.

The Bethlehem team was at the station, ready to leave, when word was received by phone that the game could not be played.

The team will continue their special training during the coming week.

The various league and cup competitions are badly confused with postponed games on their hands. The local team has yet to play the Hibernians in the first half of their league schedule, then they must play either the Clan McDonald Field club of Brooklyn, or Yonkers in the National competition. The playing off of these games means the postponement of all league games during January.

Negotiations are still going on between St. Louis and Bethlehem Steel in relation to the local champions visiting that city during the new year.
