Robert Morrison, well-known in the community as a soccer player, died at his home, 233 West Fairview St., this morning. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and was captain of the Scotland Junior International soccer team and captain of the national championship soccer team of Bethlehem Steel, where he was employed.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Catherine (Doherty) Morrison; a daughter, Eileen, at home; a brother, James, Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. J. Sutcliffe of Rahway, N. J., and Mrs. A Fullerton of Key West, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St. Burial will be in the family plot at Holy Savior Cemetery.
