Big Soccer Elevens Will Clash Today

Bethlehem’s crack association football team, 15 strong, arrived in Pittsburgh last night for today’s big game on Forbes Field, against the speedy Braddock eleven. Captain Peacock predicts that his Easterners will vanquish the local team and Captain Howe of the Braddocks is equally confident of victory.

According to statistics the Scotch will predominate in this afternoon’s clash. Braddock’s players will include seven Scotchmen, one Englishman and three who are American born. Bethlehem will present five from Scotland, three from Ireland, one from Wales, one from England and one American.

Marshall and McKelvey, who were old club-mates in the Moss End Hibs, will oppose each other. H. E. Lewis, who plays inside right today, was quarterback on the old Dravosburg team nine years ago, in the days of the famous Homestead Rugby eleven.
