Bethlehem Ties With Disston

BETHLEHEM, Pa., December 11. – In a second-round national competition game marked by sensational plays, Bethlehem Steel, National champions, and the Disston Field Club, played two hours to a 1-to-1 tie score. At the end of two extra 15-minute periods, the score remained unchanged. Bethlehem outplayed Disston in the first half, but Disston came back strong in the second. Kirkpatrick scored on a free kick for offside plyaing in the second half, while Brown scored for Bethlehem three minutes before time was up. The game will be replayed in Philadelphia next Saturday.
