N. Y. GIANTS HAVE MANY STARS ON TEAM
Former Hakoah Player With Soccer Aggregation Playing Here Tomorrow
GOALIES TO MATCH WITS

Staring Guttman, Haeusler and Hierlander, former Hakoah players and the high goal scoring Davy Brown, the New York Giants will arrive in Bethlehem early Saturday morning prepared for the meeting with the league leading Bethlehem soccer team on Lehigh Field, Center Street and Elizabeth Avenue, in the afternoon.

That the visitors intend to field their strongest club is readily apparent by the lineup submitted. In addition to the above mentioned quartet of stars will be the brilliant Geudert, ranked on his game played against Bethlehem as one of the best custodians in the league.

Edwards a Star

If the goalies are tested, the display of Edwards and Geudert between the uprights should be the most spectacular seen this season, for Edwards in spite of the fact that it is his first season in American League soccer, has been the envy of most every other club in the league.

Bethlehem's forward line will be without the services of Archie Stark, also a high scoring forward, if the tentative lineup announced this morning will be adhered to. Stark is fit to start but there is danger of aggravating his leg injury which forced his retirement in the game here last Sunday. However, he will be ready and if necessary will be pressed into service for the league leaders do not want to take any chances in not winning this game.

Johnny Granger, a veteran and one of the most aggressive forwards in the league, will be at Stark's position at inside right. He will pair off with the speedy Jaap and this combination will be hard to beat. Gillespie is certain to start at center forward, with Rollo and Goldie the right wing.

Only one position was in doubt and that was on the halfback line. Ried, a right halfback, recently purchased from Philadelphia, is expected to join the club today. If he does it is probable that the management will start him in McDonald's position to give the local fans the first opportunity of seeing the newcomer in action sporting Bethlehem colors. With such veterans as Bob MacGregor and Bill Carnihan the former Phillie should make an impressive showing.

The game will start at 2:30 o'clock. D. Scott will referee and the linesmen will be James Walder and J. Murphy. The probable lineup of the two teams follows:

Bethlehem -- Giants
Edwards -- G -- Geudert
Barrie -- RFB -- Tandler
Allen -- LFB -- Moorehouse McDonald -- RHB -- Herd
Carnihan -- CHB -- Guttman
MacGregor -- LHB -- McKinney
Jaap -- OR -- Schwartz
Granger -- IR -- Haeusler
Gillespie -- CF -- Brown
Rollo -- IL -- Heirlander
Goldie -- OL -- Horne
