Uruguayans To Play At Boston
Announcement is made that one of the first soccer teams in America to play the Uruguayan soccer team, which is to tour this country this spring, will be the Boston F. C., a member of the American Soccer League. The Hubmen are scheduled to meet the Olympic champions on April 4. While a number of dates have been closed for the tourists it is understood that quite a few are still open and this leaves a possibility that local fans might get the opportunity of seeing the invaders in action. It is known that the matter is being entertained by the Bethlehem management but that nothing definite has yet been done in regards to a game in Bethlehem. Should the Uruguayans return without testing the merit of the Steel Workers it would probably be the first time that a touring team did not meet the local clan. Usually it is Bethlehem to take the first crack at tourists.
