Inactivity in league games occasioned by competition in the cup contest has toppled Archie Stark from the top of the list for individual scoring honors in the American Soccer League for the first time this season. While in number of goals Stark is now second in the list, his average on a percentage basis still excels that of the player who has soared to the top.
Heading the list is A. Stevens, of New Bedford, with a total of 37 goals made in 34 games. R. M. Blair, of Boston, with 34 for 33 games is tied with Stark for second place. The latter, however, has participated in only 27 league games and when caught up with the schedule will have an excellent opportunity of overhauling the leaders. To tie with Stevens he will have seven games to score three goals.
