FALL RIVER A. F. A. CUP FINALIST
Forced To Go Into Two Overtime Periods To Defeat Abbott-Worsted.
PROTESTED PENALTY GOAL

In a game that went two overtime periods, the Fall River soccer team, national champions, won over Abbott Worsted in the semi-final of the American Cup at Pawtucket, R. I., Saturday afternoon, the score being 4 to 1.

Fall River's first goal, scored on a penalty kick by McPherson brought fourth a strong protest that threatened to stop the game. Abbott evened up, however, in the second half, when Dundas netted and the game went overtime.
