Steelmen Have 3 More Games Scheduled – To Meet Coats and Giants
COMMITTEE MEETS IN N. Y.

The curtain on American Soccer League soccer will be official dropped and activities cease until next season with the games scheduled to take place over Decoration Day.

This was decided at a meeting of the American Soccer League executives, held in New York, on Monday evening, when the schedule committee arranged league games for the closing. As the result, many of the teams will not complete their full schedule.

Steelmen Have 3 Games

Bethlehem Steel will close up shop with three more games. Of these, a meeting with J & P Coats, of Pawtucket, R. I., will be played in this city. The New York end of the program is to be featured with double headers on May 30 and 31, with Bethlehem Steel contributing in the latter two games. The complete schedule for the remainder of the season follows:

May 23 – Fall River vs. Bethlehem Steel, at Fall River.
May 29 – Bethlehem Steel vs. Coats, at Bethlehem; Boston vs. New Bedford at Boston.
May 30 – Providence vs. Newark, at Providence; Indiana vs. Boston, at New York; Giants vs. Coats, at New York.
May 31 – Coats vs. Brooklyn, at Pawtucket; Boston vs. New Bedford at Boston; *Giants vs. Fall River at New York; *Indiana vs. Bethlehem at New York.
