A Swing Along Athletic Row

Steel Workers Down Heated Rival
The sting of all previous defeats thus far this season was balmed with the victory of the Bethlehem Steel dribblers over Fall River on the local steel lot on Saturday afternoon. It was the first defeat sustained by Fall River this season and one that dumped the National champions somewhat in their cocky position at the top of the league standing. All in all the invasion of Fall River was not very successful for after losing to Bethlehem here on Saturday, Brooklyn held the champions to a 2-all draw. The victory will undoubtedly inspire in the Steel Workers the old confidence that was subdued somewhat by the unexpected reverses sustained in three previous games.
