SOCCER CONTEST WILL BE ON
Work Going on Today to Clear Field of Snow for Steel-Paterson Contest
MAY USE NEW PLAYER

The snow is being cleared from the Steel field and the Paterson vs. Bethlehem League game will go on as scheduled. Bethlehem will probably introduce a new center forward tomorrow and it is hoped that his inclusion will solve the goal scoring problem that has been the main source of worry to the management. Paterson will play their strongest team and local fans can depend on a fast and clever game. Bethlehem had the best of the game in the last visit of the Silk Sockers, but many chances to score were missed by the forwards. Fryer, the Paterson center half, was the outstanding star in the last game, but he will have a serious rival tomorrow in Carnihan, the new center half of the locals. The following is the probable lineup of both teams:

Paterson -- Bethlehem Steel
Renzulli -- G -- Kerr
Reynolds -- RFB -- Young
Whitehead -- LFB -- Ferguson
Scott -- RHB -- McFarlane
Fryer -- CHB -- Carnihan
Herd -- LHB -- Cox or Terris
Duggan -- OR -- Campbell
McGuire -- IR -- Rattray
McKenna -- CF -- Turner or McNiven
Murray -- IL -- L. Grainger
Sweeney -- OL -- Goldie
Referee: George Young, Philadelphia. Linesmen: Williams and Carpenter. The game will start at 2:30 p.m.
