Bethlehem Booters Get Third Whack Against League Leading New Bedford
GIANTS APPEAR ELIMINATED

Another invasion into the New England states is the only soccer engagement booked for the Bethlehem team over the weekend. IT will be played on Sunday when the Steelmen meet for the third time the league New Bedford club.

Experiencing only one defeat in seven games since being admitted to the Eastern League, the Whalers are leading the circuit and will possibly be one of the teams to qualify for the round robin league championship series.

The New York Giants, who lost out in the first half campaign by a scant margin, seemed destined to be eliminated by virtue of the present league standing. Unexpected reverses suffered by the Giants played havoc with their second half league campaigning.
