ALL CONTESTS ARE "CROOCIAL"
That is, Those That Remain on Schedule of Steel Soccer Team
MEET HARRISON TOMORROW

From now until the close of the American Soccer League season, each of Bethlehem's remaining games will be "croocial" ones. The local eleven is battling nip and tuck with J & P Coats, of Pawtucket. The Rhode Islanders at present have the edge on the steelworkers since the former have played two games less and are only one point behind in the league standing.

Bethlehem will not only have to win every game from now on, but at least one member of the league will have to upset the Pawtucket eleven if Bethlehem is to win the pennant. Coats must meet Paterson, the National Cup champions, once at Pawtucket and once at Fall River. The New Englanders must also play the New York F. C. both at home and away. These are difficult teams to win from consistently so it would appear that Coats may drop the game necessary for Bethlehem to clinch the bunting. Bethlehem, on the other hand, must also meet the championship Paterson team on the latter's field. The result of this encounter may decide the supremacy in the American circuit.

The game between Bethlehem and Harrison Saturday afternoon on the Bethlehem Steel Field will be the first of the series to decide whether the 1922-23 crown shall go to Coats or Bethlehem. Although Harrison is at present in the cellar position in the league standing, t he game will be far from one-sided, since the Jerseyites will be working hard to hand the last place honors to Philadelphia. A win by Harrison Saturday would place the Quaker City eleven at the tall end of the list. The Bethlehemites have another record to keep clean in tomorrow's game. The locals have yet to taste defeat on the home field. There have been a few drawn games, but none in which the Blue and White emerged on the short end of the score.

The lineup for tomorrow's game which starts at 3 o'clock, is as follows:

Bethlehem -- Harrison
Kerr -- G -- Ward
Young -- RFB -- Fletcher
Ferguson -- LFB -- Post
Raeside -- RHB -- Rhody
Carnihan -- CHB -- Campbell
Terris -- LHB -- Ford
