Soccer Notes

The Bethlehem F. C. will meet J & P Coats, of Pawtucket, R. I., regardless of the outcome of the race in the American Soccer League to which flag the New England clan seems to be speeding with little to interfere. However, Bethlehem is not eliminated and is still ace high in the league standing with two points to the good.

The Coats crowd improved their standing in the league materially over the weekend, defeating Harrison in a game played on Saturday and came back strong Sunday afternoon by defeating New York at Providence, R. I., by the score of 5 to 1.

At a meeting of the American League held at the Astor Hotel Sunday afternoon, the following games were arranged for the balance of the championship schedule.

May 19 -- Pawtucket at Paterson
May 20 -- Fall River at Paterson
May 20 -- Pawtucket at New York
May 26 -- Pawtucket at Bethlehem
May 27 -- Brooklyn at New York
June 3 -- Brooklyn at New York
June 3 -- Pawtucket at Paterson
