Scotland Loses International Soccer Final
Local soccer fans will be interested in the outcome of the annual international clash between England and Scotland, staged in New York City yesterday by the New York Footballers' Protective Association, in which England avenged last year's defeat by Scotland in a close game by the score of 3 to 2. This game brought the soccer season to a close, barring a few post-season matches with the touring Third Lanarks of Scotland, next month, one of which games is scheduled to be staged in Bethlehem with the Bethlehem Steel F. C. Former Bethlehem players who participated in yesterday's game were Pepper and Sturch, both playing with the English representatives.
