PERFECT RECORD AIM OF BETHLEHEM TEAM
Undefeated in Eastern Soccer League, Local Play Newark on Saturday
SKEETERS LOOK STRONG

Undefeated in the new Eastern Soccer League, the Bethlehem team will strive to continue its perfect record here on Saturday afternoon when the recently strengthened Newark F. C., will be the opponent.

In the past when Newark visited Bethlehem the local booters were not overly concerned but with the revamped team the Skeeters must be respected. This is partly true since Newark broke into the winning column by defeating the strong New York Giants.

Having played and defeated every club in the league, Bethlehem is ambitious to conclude the season with a perfect record and if this is done it will probably be the first time a team has ever won a championship in major soccer with a clean record.

Insofar as the lineup of the club for Saturday is concerned, there can be but one lineup and that will no doubt remain intact unless hampered with injuries. Against the Hakoah last Sunday the players went through a grueling contest but fortunately emerged unscathed and all of the regulars will be available for their positions on Saturday.

Bethlehem is booked for one game over the weekend and there will be no necessity in reserving some of their energy for a Sunday clash.

With the visitors will be Arthur Robertson, a halfback, and Joe Mulhall, forward, formerly with the Bethlehem Club and who can be recalled when the team sees fit to do so. It is certain that both can be expected to give their best in trying to convince the management that they are as good as the players who were retained. In addition to the former locals, Newark will present very few of the players who were with the team on a previous league visit. The probable lineup follows:

Bethlehem -- Newark
Edwards -- G -- Murdock
Barrie -- RFB -- Cairns
Allan -- LFB -- Pollock
Reid -- RHB -- Boyle
Carnihan -- CHB -- McGrath
MacGregor -- LHB -- Robertson
Gillespie -- OR -- Hill
Jaap -- IR -- Mulhall
Stark -- CF -- Wall
Massie -- IL -- Conn
Rollo -- OL -- Brown
Referee -- Forrest.
